Miles Storey: Portsmouth sign Swindon Town striker on loan

Storey made his first-team debut for Swindon in 2011

Portsmouth have signed striker Miles Storey on a season-long loan from League One Swindon.

The 20-year-old has scored six goals in 35 appearances for the Robins.

Former England Under-19 international Storey spent time on loan at Shrewsbury last season and previously had a spell with Salisbury.

"Miles has been a target for us since the end of last season and I'm delighted that he's joined us," said Portsmouth manager Andy Awford.

Swindon boss Mark Cooper told BBC Wiltshire: "He knows he's going to play there regularly and he'll be playing for a big club in front of a big crowd.

"It gives him the opportunity to get into a rhythm of scoring goals. I think it will do him the world of good."
