Falkirk reached the third round of the Scottish League Cup after beating Cowdenbeath in a penalty shoot-out.
Liam Dick and Olumide Durojaiye tested Cowden goalkeeper Thomas Flynn while Sean Higgins fired against the Falkirk crossbar during regulation time.
Rory Loy missed a penalty in extra-time after being fouled by Nat Wedderburn.
However, after Craig Johnston had his spot-kick saved in the shoot-out, Craig Sibbald converted to send Falkirk through to Wednesday's draw.
Dean Brett, Iain Campbell and Wedderburn had netted their penalties for Cowden but Higgins and Lewis Milne missed. Will Vaulks, Loy and Scott Shepherd netted penalties in the shoot-out for the Bairns with Rory Boulding and Liam Rowan unsuccessful from 12 yards.
