Norwich City are awaiting international clearance for new signing Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe, who has joined from Club Brugge for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old Belgium international midfielder agreed a three-year deal on Friday, with an option for a further 12 months extension.
Odjidja-Ofoe scored three goals in 30 games for Club Brugge last term.
"He is a versatile and very attack-minded midfielder," manager Neil Adams told the club website., external
"We have tracked him all summer with a view to signing, particularly if we lost one or two of our players in the transfer window."
Odjidja-Ofoe has been capped five times for his country and is expected to receive clearance to enable him to make his Canaries debut after the international break.
Norwich are next in action in the Championship on 13 September when they travel to south Wales to face Cardiff City, who were relegated with them last term.
