Grant Holt: Huddersfield Town sign Wigan Athletic striker on loan

Holt scored once in 10 games during a loan spell with Aston Villa last season

Struggling Huddersfield Town have signed Wigan Athletic striker Grant Holt on loan until 8 November.

The 33-year-old is in the Terriers squad for Saturday's home match against Millwall in the Championship.

Holt has played only once for the Latics this season, coming off the bench as a second half sub in the League Cup defeat by Burton.

The ex-Norwich man ended last season on loan with Premier League side Aston Villa, scoring once in 10 appearances.
