Accrington Stanley have signed goalkeeper Jesse Joronen on a month-long loan from Fulham.

The Finland international has made four appearances for the Championship side this season after previous loan spells with Cambridge and Maidenhead.

Joronen, 21, competes for a first-team place at Craven Cottage against former Stanley loanee Marcus Bettinelli.

He has been signed to replace Aaron Chapman, who has returned to parent club Chesterfield with a foot injury.

"We were disappointed to lose Aaron to injury, but Jesse comes in with a great reputation and is a good addition," said Stanley boss John Coleman.

"He's played in the Championship this season and that experience could prove invaluable to him at League Two level."

Joronen will be eligible for Saturday's trip to Stevenage, subject to Football League approval.
