Burton Albion goalkeeper Dean Lyness is set to be out for up to four months after breaking a leg in training.
The 23-year-old was hurt in a freak accident on Thursday morning, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's first day as Brewers manager.
Lyness, who has returned to the team for the last two games, joined the Brewers in July 2012.
Burton face Wycombe on Monday in Hasselbaink's first game and are looking to bring in goalkeeping cover.
