Alfreton Town have signed goalkeeper Sam Johnson on a one-month loan deal from League One side Port Vale.
The 21-year-old academy product has made six appearances this season.
Vale manager Rob Page said: "He has shown myself that he is capable of playing League One or League Two football but at this moment in time Chris Neal is the number one.
"It's a great opportunity for him to go out and play games and we'll reap the reward later on in his development."
Johnson made his Vale debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy against Walsall in October 2012 and scored the winning spot-kick in the penalty shootout.
