Lee Holmes: Portsmouth sign Preston winger on loan

Portsmouth have signed Preston winger Lee Holmes on loan until early January.

Holmes started his career at Derby and had loan spells at Swindon, Bradford and Walsall before joining Southampton.

The 27-year-old then had loan stints at Swindon and Oxford before joining North End full-time in May 2012, where has has made 60 league appearances.

"He's a great asset to have and we'd like to thank Preston for their help in getting the deal over the line," boss Andy Awford told the Pompey website.
