Max Ehmer: Gillingham sign QPR defender on loan
- Published
League One side Gillingham have signed Queens Park Rangers defender Max Ehmer on loan until 3 January.
The 22-year-old German centre-back has made one appearance for the Premier League side, which came as a substitute in February 2013.
Ehmer has previously had loan spells at Yeovil Town, Preston, Stevenage and Carlisle United.
"He has played in over 80 matches and has good experience at this level," Gills boss Peter Taylor said.
"He's a good player, a strong defender and can play in a couple of other positions too."
Ehmer's arrival at the Priestfield Stadium comes after Kortney Hause was recalled from his loan spell with the Gills by parent club Wolves earlier this week.
