Bristol City midfielder Bobby Reid has re-signed for League Two side Plymouth Argyle on loan until 3 January.

The 21-year-old played seven games for the Pilgrims in a seven-week spell at Home Park earlier this season, with Argyle winning four of the matches.

Reid was recalled earlier this month after League One leaders City were hit by injuries.

"I didn't really want to recall Bobby a couple of weeks ago as he was playing games," City boss Steve Cotterill said.

"But we happened to have two freak injuries on a Friday that set us back and I needed to recall him.

"In the meantime (Plymouth manager) John Sheridan was really good and really thankful for us loaning him in the first place and then has come back again.

"It's a really good move for Bobby as well."
