Notts County have signed winger Ryan Hall from Championship side Rotherham United on loan until January.

The 26-year-old, who joined League One side MK Dons last season after being suspended then released by Leeds United, moved to Rotherham in June.

Hall, who has scored once in just three league appearances this season, was a previous club-mate of Notts manager Shaun Derry at Crystal Palace.

"I know him as a good guy and good man," Hall told BBC Radio Nottingham.

"I was on my way home last night and Steve Evans (Rotherham manager) rang me and said there was a manager in League One that wanted to speak to me.

"He mentioned that it was Shaun Derry and asked if I would go, and I said 'of course I will'."

Hall has scored 25 goals in 128 league appearances, featuring for eight clubs in nine years.
