League One side Preston North End have signed Middlesbrough striker Bradley Fewster on a youth loan deal until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old will help cover the loss of injured Joe Garner and recalled Aston Villa forward Callum Robinson.

The England Under-19 international scored against North End in the League Cup as Boro won 3-1 in August.

"We feel we have got a player who can play anywhere across the front line," said boss Simon Grayson.

"He is a different type of player to Callum Robinson, but he is a player looking to continue to learn his trade and if he has anywhere near the impact that Callum did, we will be delighted."
