Junior Brown: Oxford United winger joins Mansfield Town

Junior Brown played 121 times for Fleetwood and was part of the side promoted to League Two in 2012

Mansfield Town have signed winger Junior Brown on loan until 3 January from League Two rivals Oxford United.

The 25-year-old has played 15 games for the U's since joining in July after his contract with Fleetwood was terminated.

He is ineligible for next week's FA Cup second-round tie against Cambridge, having already played in the competition this season.

"Junior will bring good balance, intelligence and know-how," said Stags caretaker manager Adam Murray.

Brown has already featured at Field Mill this season, starting in Oxford's 2-1 league loss in August.
