Wolves have signed teenage midfielder Jordan Graham on loan from Aston Villa.

The 19-year-old Villa Academy product, who has been on trial at Molineux, will stay with Wolves until January.

His arrival follows the signing of young striker Donovan Wilson from Bristol Rovers, who will complete his move in the new year.

Graham, who was loaned out twice last season - first to Ipswich and then to Bradford - has represented England at under-16s and under-17s level.

Not going to plan at Molineux

Wolves, who were one win away from going top of the Championship in early October, have slipped to 11th in the table on the back of a four-game run in which they have scored just one goal, picked up one point and lost three times, conceding 10 goals in the process.

But Wolves failed to proceed with a move to sign teenage Northampton Town striker Ivan Toney.

Boss Kenny Jackett confirmed his interest in the 18-year-old Cobblers forward, but did not explain why the deal had not gone through.

Toney made headlines last season, scoring three times in Northampton's final two games to keep the Cobblers in the Football League.

He caught Jackett's eye when he scored in Northampton's 3-2 League Cup first round win at Molineux in August and, since then, has added a further five goals.
