AFC Telford United 3-4 Eastleigh

Tony Gray's hat-trick for AFC Telford was not enough as a James Constable brace helped Eastleigh claim victory.

Gray's curling shot put Telford ahead, Craig Stanley headed in an equaliser, before Gray restored his side's lead with a fine left-footed effort.

Jack Midson levelled from close range and Constable finished off Jai Reason's pass to put Eastleigh 3-2 ahead.

Constable then ran through to score his second and Eastleigh held on, despite Gray's late header for his third goal.

AFC Telford United player-coach Andy Pryce told BBC Radio Shropshire:

"I think we should have beaten them, even with the squad we have left from injuries - I thought we've gone out there and given 100%.

"Tony Gray has played on his own up front for most of the game - he has taken three great chances, should have had four and he is a well-deserved man of the match.

"We have to put a team out on Monday in the cup - but are looking seriously at our league games over Christmas with two massive games against Nuneaton coming up."
