Atletico Madrid sign San Lorenzo's Angel Correa after heart surgery

Angel Correa had been linked to Manchester United, City and Arsenal before agreeing to join Atletico

Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of San Lorenzo forward Angel Correa after a successful heart operation.

The 19-year-old had agreed a five-year deal in May after a reported £6m fee was agreed but a medical showed up a heart condition.

He had surgery in New York and recovered in Madrid before starting training last month.

And the Spanish champions have now confirmed the Argentina Under-20 international has joined them on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
