Jake Reeves: AFC Wimbledon sign ex-Swindon midfielder

AFC Wimbledon have signed midfielder Jake Reeves after his short-term contract at Swindon expired.

The 21-year-old scored one goal in 12 appearances for the Robins after joining the League One side in August following his departure from Brentford.

Reeves had a loan spell with the Dons in during the 2012-13 campaign.

"Jake has an edge to him, he can see a pass and his technique is very good," Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley told the club website., external

"I was aware of the deal that he was on at Swindon and when he was not getting as many games as he would have hoped for I got straight onto his agent, who told me Jake was considering leaving.

"I said that Jake knows how much I rate him and I would love to have him back at Wimbledon."
