Steve Jennings has joined Tranmere for a fourth spell

Tranmere Rovers have signed midfielder Steve Jennings and striker Rory Donnelly, but have released Danny Woodards and Guy Madjo.

Jennings, 30, was on loan at Rovers from Port Vale, but has now signed a six-month deal with a one-year option.

"He's shown everyone how committed he is to the cause since returning," said manager Micky Adams.

Swansea forward Donnelly, 22, has agreed a deal to join on loan until the end of the season.

Defender Woodards, 31, joined on a six-month contract last summer after his release by relegated Bristol Rovers, but made just five appearances after fracturing his metatarsal in September.

Former Crawley, Shrewsbury and Macclesfield striker Madjo, 30, signed a two-month deal in November and featured three times as a substitute.

Adams has also announced that Abdulai Bell-Baggie, Eliot Richards, George Donnelly, James Rowe and Antonie Boland have been made available for transfer.
