Guy Madjo: Tranmere Rovers sign striker on two-month contract

Guy Madjo scored four goals in six appearances for Port Vale under Micky Adams

Tranmere Rovers have signed striker Guy Madjo on a two-month contract, subject to international clearance.

The 30-year-old from Cameroon has been on trial for the past month and knows manager Micky Adams from their spell at Port Vale together.

Madjo began his professional career at Bristol City and has also played for Crawley, Shrewsbury, Stevenage, Aldershot, Plymouth and Macclesfield.

He most recently appeared for Grakcu Looktabfah Pathumthani FC in Thailand.

"Guy is a hard-working, enthusiastic striker who will add competition for places," boss Adams told the club website.
