Wrexham have signed centre-back Luke Waterfall from Scunthorpe on a contract until the end of next season.

The 24-year-old, who has had loan spells at Mansfield and Macclesfield, has been at Scunthorpe for the last 18 months.

He is available to face Telford on Saturday, subject to international clearance.

"I've played against Wrexham and always enjoyed coming to the Racecourse," said Waterfall.

"There were good offers from other clubs, but I think I have made the right choice.

"I know Connor Jennings well from our time together at Scunthorpe and he certainly speaks highly of Wrexham."

Meanwhile, Wrexham striker Nick Rushton has joined Conference North side Hednesford Town on loan for the remainder of the season.
