Transfer Deadline Day: Derby's Calero joins Burton on loan

Calero scored on debut as a substitute for the Rams against Charlton in August, having only been on the pitch for 17 minutes

Burton Albion have signed Derby County attacking midfielder Ivan Calero on an initial one-month youth loan deal.

The 19-year-old Spaniard, who joined from Atletico Madrid in July, has been training with the League Two side.

Calero has made three substitute appearances for the Championship side this season, scoring the winner in August's League Cup win over Charlton.

Burton manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said: "He is a bright, attacking and exciting young player."
