Transfer Deadling Day: Tom Aldred completes Blackpool move

Blackpool have completed the signing of Accrington Stanley defender Tom Aldred on an 18-month contract.

Aldred, 24, signed from the League Two side on a 28-day emergency loan, to enable him to be used on the bench for Saturday's home game with Blackpool.

The Scot, who began his career at Carlisle, has also been with Watford and Colchester United.

He had loan spells at Stockport, Torquay and Barrow before moving to Stanley in 2013.
