Transfer deadline day: O'Connor joins Plymouth from Blackburn

Anthony O'Connor has made 29 appearances for Plymouth this season

Plymouth Argyle have signed defender Anthony O'Connor from Championship side Blackburn Rovers.

The 22-year-old joined the League Two club on loan at the start of the season and he initially returned to Ewood Park midway through January.

But the Pilgrims have now agreed to take over O'Connor's contract from Blackburn and he will stay with the club until the end of the campaign.

O'Connor has made 29 appearances for Plymouth this season.
