Transfer Deadline Day: Villa's Robinson returns to Preston

Callum Robinson scored five goals in 11 games for Preston earlier this season

Aston Villa striker Callum Robinson has joined Preston North End on loan for the remainder of the season.

He scored five goals in 11 games during a loan spell with the League One club earlier in the campaign.

"I am really happy to come back for the rest of the season," said Robinson, 20.

"The Preston fans have been great to me and I now want to focus on getting sharp again, getting a few more goals and hopefully helping the team get the promotion we are all aiming for."
