Anthony Gerrard: Oldham sign Huddersfield defender on loan

League One side Oldham have signed Huddersfield defender Anthony Gerrard on loan until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old has made only one start for the Terriers this season and has not played since the start of January.
Gerrard, who is the cousin of Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, came through the youth system at Everton and has played for Walsall, Cardiff and Hull.
"Gerrard is a player we have tracked for a couple of weeks now," said Latics caretaker boss Dean Holden.
"He is a natural leader with a good pedigree and most importantly he is a winner."
The centre-back is out of contract at Huddersfield at the end of the season so the loan deal is likely to mark the end of his time at the Yorkshire club.
