Wolves striker Kevin Doyle will join Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids at the end of the season on a free transfer, subject to a medical.
The 31-year-old Republic of Ireland international will sign a two-and-a-half-year contract on 1 July when his Wolves deal expires.
Doyle, who started the season on loan at Crystal Palace, is a peripheral figure in Wolves' promotion bid.
He remains Wolves' joint-record signing, having cost £6.5m in 2009.
The former Cork City and Reading player said: "With so many great players moving to MLS to join up with the great American talent already there, it's a great time to play in this league.
"I know from talking to [LA Galaxy's] Robbie Keane that MLS is a great league to play in and I look forward to being another top Irish player there.
"To be involved in the Wolves squad that is on an exciting run is now my only focus, as it would mean so much to me to see us get back to the Premier League."
