Livingston 1-0 Queen of the South

Livingston clinched Scottish Championship safety with victory over Queen of the South.

Mark Burchill's side started the day ninth and could have moved up or down a place, depending on results.

Myles Hippolyte's shot was saved by Queens keeper Zander Clark before Danny Mullen won a penalty for the hosts.

Kyle Jacobs converted and victory meant Livi finished above relegation play-off bound Alloa Athletic and Cowdenbeath, who are automatically demoted.

Queens had already sealed their promotion play-off berth and will play Rangers on 9 and 17 May with Hibernian awaiting in the semi-final and the final to feature the team finishing second bottom of the Premiership.
