Grant Murray has been sacked as manager of Scottish Championship side Raith Rovers after five straight defeats.
The Kirkcaldy men are unable to reach the promotion play-offs but are also safe from any threat of relegation to League One.
Former Rovers player Murray, 39, was appointed in 2012 after the departure of John McGlynn.
"Recent performances and results have led to today's parting of ways," said a statement on the club's website.
"His three year tenure has included an unforgettable Ramsdens Cup win and two Scottish Cup quarter-final appearances, while Championship league status has been maintained.
"Grant has been an extremely hard working manager and we wish him well in his future career within football."
First team coach Laurie Ellis will take the team for its final match of the season against Dumbarton on Saturday.
