League One club Port Vale have done their first summer transfer business by bringing in former loan defender Remie Streete and midfielder Sam Kelly on two-year contracts.

Streete, 20, impressed for Vale in three games on loan from Newcastle United last autumn, only to then be recalled by his parent club.

He went out on loan again to Glasgow Rangers in February, but got injured.

Kelly, 21, has been on the books of both Norwich City and Everton.

Having come through the youth system at Norwich, Kelly moved to Everton in 2012, spending over a year at Goodison Park before being released.

He then joined non-league Cambridge City before returning to Norwich to sign for their Under-21 side last season.

Streete left Newcastle by mutual consent last month.
