Steven Schumacher: Stevenage sign ex-Fleetwood Town midfielder

Stevenage have signed former Fleetwood Town midfielder Steven Schumacher on an undisclosed-length deal.

The 31-year-old made 33 appearances for the Cod Army last season, but was one of 15 players released by the League One side in May.

He was part of the Bury and Fleetwood teams to win promotion from League Two in 2011 and 2014 respectively.

In total, the former Everton trainee has made 372 career league appearances for five Football League clubs.
