Versatile former Derby County player Tom Naylor has signed a two-year contract with Burton Albion.

Naylor, 24, spent five months on loan with the Brewers last season, playing 17 games and helping the club win the League Two title.

"I established myself in the side at the end of last season and really enjoyed it," said Naylor, whose Rams deal ran out at the end of last season.

"The club is clearly going places and that's the reason I wanted to sign."

Naylor joined the Rams from Mansfield in 2012 but played just 10 times for the Championship side and spent time on loan with Bradford City, Grimsby Town, Newport County and Cambridge United before joining Burton.
