Charlton Athletic have signed French midfielder El Hadji Ba from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old has agreed a three-year contract with the Championship club.
Ba joined Sunderland in the summer of 2013, but only played three games and was loaned to Bastia last season.
"It was a little bit difficult at Sunderland. I was young and didn't have a lot of time on the pitch, but now I am older and ready to fight at Charlton," he told the club's website., external
The former France Under-20 international is Charlton's second signing of the summer, following the arrival of German defender Patrick Bauer.
