League Two side AFC Wimbledon have signed winger Andy Barcham after he left Portsmouth by mutual consent.

The 28-year-old, who scored one goal in 22 appearances for Pompey last season, had one year remaining on his contract at Fratton Park.

"Andy can play on either wing or up front," Dons boss Neal Ardley told the club website., external

"He is exceptionally quick and is very good at taking players on. He will be given that licence by me."

Barcham, who is the south-west London club's second signing of the summer, began his career at Tottenham and had spells at Gillingham and Scunthorpe before moving to Portsmouth in summer 2013.

Wimbledon have not disclosed the length of his contract at Kingsmeadow.
