Defender Tony Craig has rejoined Millwall after a mutual agreement to terminate his contract with Brentford.

The 30-year-old has agreed a two-year deal with the Lions, who were relegated to League One last season.

Craig was a product of Millwall's youth system and played 87 games for the club before joining Crystal Palace in 2007.

He returned the next year, initially on loan, and played 146 games before, in 2012, moving to Brentford, where he made more than 100 appearances.

Last November Craig signed a new contract with the Bees which ran to the summer of 2017, but he lost his place in the side in February.

"The last time I left I thought that I had played my final game for the club but I'm back now and ecstatic," he told the club website.

Craig is a former Millwall team-mate of manager Neil Harris, assistant boss Dave Livermore and coach Andy Frampton.
