Kyle Dempsey: Huddersfield Town sign Carlisle midfielder

Kyle Dempsey made his debut for Carlisle against MK Dons in January 2014

Huddersfield Town have signed Carlisle United midfielder Kyle Dempsey for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal.

The 19-year-old scored 11 goals in 47 appearances for the League Two side last season.

He is the third player to join Town this summer following full-back Jason Davidson and midfielder Dean Whitehead.

"He embodies the type of player that fits with the club; someone who can come in and continue to develop," boss Chris Powell told the club website.
