League One side Scunthorpe United have signed midfielder Jamie Ness on a free transfer after his release by Stoke.
The 24-year-old has agreed a two-year deal and is Scunthorpe's ninth signing of the summer.
Ness began his career at Rangers and moved to Stoke in the summer of 2012, but made only one substitute appearance in three years with the Potters.
He spent much of last season on loan at Crewe, playing 35 times for the Alex and scoring two goals.
