Bradford City's Filipe Morais has been ruled out for up to nine months with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.

The 29-year-old former Oldham and Stevenage man suffered the injury during pre-season training on Monday.

The Portuguese winger scored three goals in 30 league appearances for the Bantams last season, as they finished seventh in League One.

He also helped Phil Parkinson's side beat Chelsea and Sunderland in their run to the last eight of the FA Cup.
