Championship side MK Dons have signed Southampton forward Sam Gallagher on a season-long loan deal.
The 19-year-old came through the Saints youth system, and has scored twice in 20 senior appearances for the Premier League club.
Devon-born Gallagher switched international allegiance from Scotland, for whom he played at Under-19 level, to England in 2014.
"It's unbelievable to be here," Gallagher told the MK Dons website., external
"From the moment I got here, I've been made to feel really welcome - to feel wanted by someone like (boss) Karl Robinson, and to be at this kind of club, gives me a real boost.
"I've talked to people about the way this club operates and it gives off a similar feel to where Southampton were at this point. It feels like the club are going in a similar direction and so it was a no-brainer to come here."
