Nelson Oliveira and Ryan Mendes join Nottingham Forest on loan

Nelson Oliveira scored one goal in 11 games while on loan with Swansea City last season

Nottingham Forest have confirmed the loan signings of Portugal international striker Nelson Oliveira and Lille winger Ryan Mendes.

Benfica forward Oliveira, 24, and Mendes, 25 have both joined until the end of the season.

Forest owner Fawaz Al Hasawi said on Wednesday that the club hoped to make three more signings despite the transfer window closing on Tuesday.

Crystal Palace midfielder Jonathan Williams is also expected to join.

Oliveira, who has 14 caps for his country, spent the second half of last season on loan at Swansea City and scored one goal in four starts.

Cape Verde international Mendes has been at Lille since 2012.
