Swindon Town: Adam El-Abd joins on loan from Bristol City

Adam El-Abd has represented Egypt seven times in his career

Swindon Town have signed defender Adam El-Abd on an emergency loan from Bristol City until January.

The 31-year-old Egypt international last featured for Steve Cotterill's side 11 months ago.

The centre-back spent much of last season on loan at Bury, where he made 24 appearances.

El-Abd joined City on a three-and-a-half-year deal from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2014, ending a 20-year association with the Seagulls.
