Luke Hendrie has been on the books of both Derby and Manchester United
Hartlepool United have signed defender Luke Hendrie from Burnley on a one-month loan.
The 21-year-old joins Pools following Brad Halliday's return to parent club Middlesbrough and could remain longer if the switch is a success.
The full-back, who joined the Clarets from Derby in the summer, is the son of ex-Middlesbrough striker John Hendrie.
Pools are waiting on Football League clearance for Hendrie ahead of Saturday's game against Dagenham.
