Bradley Halliday has never made a first-team appearance for Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough defender Bradley Halliday has joined League Two side Accrington Stanley on loan for a month.

The 20-year-old signed in time to be involved in Tuesday's home fixture against AFC Wimbledon.

Halliday played six times during a loan spell at Hartlepool earlier this season, after scoring once in 24 appearances in the fourth tier on loan at York City last term.

He is yet to make a first-team appearance for Championship club Boro.
