Gary Liddle's goal for Bradford was his first for more than a year

Bradford extended their unbeaten run to seven games as they moved up to seventh in League One with victory against bottom-of-the-table Crewe Alexandra.

Gary Liddle put the Bantams ahead with a downward header just inside the near post in first-half stoppage time.

Billy Clarke grabbed number two, winning a chase for the ball inside the visitors' penalty area before beating Ben Garratt with an angled shot.

Bradn Inman came closest to scoring for Crewe with a shot that hit the bar.
