Doncaster Rovers have signed defender Craig Alcock from League One rivals Sheffield United on a 28-day loan.

Alcock has made five appearances this season for the Blades and 37 in all since arriving in the summer of 2014.

The 27-year-old began his career at Yeovil before moving to Peterborough United, where he played under current Rovers manager Darren Ferguson.

Alcock, who has not played since September, will be available for Saturday's game against Blackpool.
