Yeovil Town have signed Tottenham youngster Christian Maghoma on loan until January 2.

Maghoma, 18, featured regularly for the Tottenham Under-21 side last season.

"I think it will be a very good experience for me," Maghoma told BBC Radio Bristol.

"I want to help the team get out the relegation zone and I want to improve as a player myself. There is a massive gap between Under-21, Under-18 games and Football League experience."

He continued: "I am still learning and still in my development phase, I have a lot to learn but a lot to give as well."

Former Spurs defender Steven Caulker enjoyed a loan spell with the Glovers in 2009.

"I have been told how good he did when he was here and after that he went onto bigger and better things," Maghoma continued.

"If I can follow his path I will be happy."

Yeovil are currently bottom of League Two, after winning just two of their 19 games this season.
