Irish Premiership: Glentoran 2-0 Glenavon

Former Republic of Ireland defender Alan Kernaghan celebrated his first win as Glentoran manager as his team beat Glenavon 2-0 at the Oval.
Jonathan Smith scored the opening goal in the 33rd minute when he flicked in a header from Steven McCullough's free-kick from the right wing.
Earlier, Smith had hit the bar with a long-range curling free from the left.
Glentoran sealed the win when Stephen Gordon's deflected shot looped over keeper Jonathan Tuffey.

Glentoran manager Alan Kernaghan: "I am delighted with the way we went about things against difficult opposition in difficult conditions. We performed pretty well.
"Winning is important and you want to do that by playing attractive football, but it can be difficult.
"However, I think we are heading in the right direction."
