- Published
Doncaster Rovers have signed Sheffield United defender Craig Alcock for an undisclosed fee.
Alcock, 28, has played 10 times for Rovers since joining on loan in November and has now agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal.
He previously played under Doncaster boss Darren Ferguson when the pair were at Peterborough.
The Keepmoat Stadium side have won their last two games to lie six points outside the League One play-off places.
Meanwhile, midfielder Richie Wellens, 35, has left Doncaster after having his contract terminated by mutual consent.
