Kyle Cameron: York City sign Newcastle United defender

Kyle Cameron is a Scotland Under-19 international

York City have signed teenage defender Kyle Cameron on a one-month loan deal from Newcastle United.

The 18-year-old is a Scotland Under-19 international and has recently spent time on loan at non-league Workington.

He could make his debut for the Minstermen in Saturday's home game against Newport County.

Jackie McNamara's side are bottom of the Football League, three points adrift of safety but with a game in hand.
