Great Britain claimed a point from a 2-2 draw against hosts Belgium as they got their World League semi-final campaign under way in Antwerp.

Belgium captain John-John Dohmen put his side ahead with a deflection past goalkeeper George Pinner.

Barry Middleton followed up a shot from a penalty corner to level and Alastair Brogdon scored from a tight angle to give Britain the lead.

But Sebastien Dockier equalised with 12 minutes left to deny GB victory.

Head coach Bobby Crutchley said: "I thought we were cagey in the first quarter but then came into it more in the second and had some good chances.

"I was pleased with Alastair Brogdon's goal. It shows we have players with flair in the team who can create chances."

Britain take on Ireland in their second match in Pool B on Tuesday.
