Career highlights
The tall and powerful striker has adapted quickly to international football and scored a superb half-volley at the 2011 World Cup in the group-stage victory over eventual champions Japan.
Only Casey Stoney played more games last year than White, who won England Women's Player of the Year award.
She made a goalscoring international debut against Austria in March 2010.
Other career
After starting her professional career at Chelsea Ladies. she joined Leeds in 2008 but suffered a cruciate ligament injury shortly after the move. White returned to score twice in Leeds' victory over Everton in the final of the Women's Premier League Cup in February 2010.
Once Leeds disbanded she returned to Arsenal and helped them win the FA Cup in May 2011.
Career background
White began playing football at the academy run by her father at Aylesbury Town FC.
